I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good on-line music stores? I have so far visited around 30, all of which had at least one or more problems that deters me from using them. I would really prefer to buy my music rather than downloading it illegally, but I need to be offered that possibility, and so far I haven't found what I'm looking for.
So... When I say "good", I am referring to:
- No DRM protection (my software doesn't support it).
- No subscription / rental models (I just want to buy music as I would buy a CD).
- A wide and diverse selection of music (mainstream and non-mainstream).
- Music in a widely supported format (MP3, OGG Vorbis, etc. - not AAC, WMA)
- Reasonable prices (CD album price or less).
I really don't think that's too much to ask, yet the 30 stores I've visited seem intent on pushing me into piracy as my only choice by not meeting all of these requirements.
Any suggestions?
