      New Indiana Jones Movie

Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of my favorite movies from childhood. The Indiana Jones Trilogy itself has become a favorite for me.

So I was pretty excited to hear that Spielberg, Lucas, and Ford have teamed together for one final Indiana Jones movie that they are in the process of filming right now. We will see a movie trailer around Thanksgiving 2007, and the movie is is set to relase in May 2008.

I hope they make the movie with the traditional film techniques and stuntwork as the originals. Spielberg says he will always shoot on film rather than digital as Lucas would prefer. As wel,l one of the producers stated that the film will not rely on CGI and that they will use the traditional stuntwork techniques.

I know there will be some who think a fourth movie is excessive and that they should leave the classic trilogy as it is, I mean they rode off into the sunset at the end of Crusade. The only reason that Spielberg, Lucas, and Ford are making this movie is because they had so much fun making the original trilogy, and their love for the franchise itself. A thing to remember as well is that George Lucas will act as producer, he will have a hand in the story I'm sure, but he is not directing so this does not have to potential for disaster that some have attributed to the latest Star Wars efforts.

Here is Ford in costume on the set taken a couple days ago by Spielberg.

Shia LeBeouf is co-starring with Harrison Ford. Though his role remains a secret, some people are disappointed with his inclusion to the cast simply because they do not like him, but here is an interview with him regarding the new Indiana Jones film.

Well I have to say that Ford doesn't look like too bad or old, and he certaintly doesn't look like he's about to flat-line or anything, as many have jokingly predicted.

I'm sure the movie will be decent.

I heard Sean Connery wasn't going to be in this one. I think they offered him a role but he refused. I never liked that guy.

Blasphemy!!! He is a legend, however Michael Cane beats himi any day...

I liked the last one, can't remember what it's called "Raider's of the Lost Arc" thats the one. Best one in the series.

Either way I doubt Ford's as athletic as he once was, so I don't think he'll be able to pull off many stunts and make it as believable, however I'm willing to give it try. Just hope it doesn't turn out to be another Rocky Balboa.

I don't believe Lucas directed any of the original IJ movies either . You might notice a pattern here. When lucas directs (A New Hope, and the new SW movies), it sucks... when he just writes most of the story and lets a talented director direct (empire strikes back, return of the jedi, indiana jones trilogy), it comes out amazing .

A New Hope was amazing! How dare you!

Also, Sean Connory is one of the greatest actors ever.

On topic, I really hope this movie comes out well. If it doesn't, I will be really angry. Also, I hope its not like Temple of Doom (I thought that that one was awful).

Each of the Indy movies is great in it's own way. I'm looking forward to seeing the fourth. I hope it turns out good and that Ford can pull off a lively character despite his age. It'd suck to see Indy doing nothing but talking and hobbling through the entire movie.

Am i the only one that thinks he's a bit too old to be doing the film, he could do a good job of the film but i can say for sure that this film will not be as good as the originals.

When I watched Raiders and Temple of Doom I was small kid and I thought it was the best films ever. When I watch them today I think Temple of Doom sucks and Raiders is OK... When Crusade came I wasn't a small kid any more, and I thought it really, really sucked.
So I think these films are really for children, and I think adults should not critisize them, as it is not meant for them.

I think Crusade was awesome, Raiders was good, and Temple sucked horribly. You are the only person I know of who doesn't like Crusade.

I thought all three were brilliant. I know the second movie was lacking in depth (compared to the first two, which seemed to have more personality to them), but I thought Temple of Doom was just plain fun. Especially the cart ride near the end .

Just a quick guess, you are between 25 and 30 years old. Am I correct? Yea I know I'm probably wrong, but I wanted to test this stupid theory of mine.
