Thread: If anyone still plays Pokemon Gold...

You know...I don't remember that well cause it was so long ago...but there is some ship somewhere that if you have the walk over water(or swim), and walk through walls cheats, you can a special pokemon from an otherwise un accessable area.... =( I can't recall it perfect though, maybe its from the first series of games.

Missingno? Lol that's a glitch pokemon

No...Missingno is off of that island with the volcano badge or something hehe. No this is a real pokemon. But now that I think of it it has to be on the old version, since it was a release of one of those "new" pokemon that are found in gold and saphire. It was blue...kinda like a freaked up polywag.

Hahaha, thats kinda scary, I think I know what ya mean... So you walk around the water near the boat?

Its on some land near the boat...but you can only get to the land if you have the walk through cheat I think, and you also have to swim. Or something like that, I'll try and look it up on the net for yuh.

=( I can't find it, sorry. Maybe I lost my mind and i'm wrong, but I really think there is a rare pokemon near the S.S. Anne boat thingie. The closest thing I can find to it was this...

Glitch: S.S Ann never leaves:
When on the S.S. Ann, defeat your rival. Get HM01 (cut), then fight one of the junior trainers on the boat. Intentionally loe the battle. You will be transferred to the last pokemon center you visisted, but the S.S Ann will not have left.

After defeating Misty in Cerulean City and you need the HM Cut to continue, board teh S.S. Ann. You can defeat Gary/your rival, but do not talk to the captain of hte ship. This is vital, as he gives you the HM and trigges the launch of the ship. Instead, trade with af riend who has a Pokemon that knows the move Cut. Use this pokemon to continue in your quest and the S.S. Ann will never set sail. Later, return to the ship with the ability to Surf and a Pokemon to continue in your quest and the S.S. Anne will never set sail. Later, return to the ship with the ability to surf and a Pokemon that knows it. Ask to board teh ship. Then, while on the jetty surf to your right. There is a small plateau of land witha mysterious car on it.


I might have been mistaking the car with a pokemon, it was soooo long ago that I had anything to do with pokemon lol.

i think he means Pokemon Gold Sandform, that thing you posted is from Pokemon Blue/Red, i remember doing that on Blue.

Oh yea, i remember that pokemon, when the boat leaves you have to go into the wake thing where it was, there is a pokemon there

Lol you use a GameShark for Poke'mon? That's just cheap man I enjoyed the challenge of finding all them damn poke' mon and in Blue and Red when you could find Mew under that car that was a cool little trick, and Missing No. that glitch pokemon and in that same place you could multiply your items that's how I got rich good game.

Actually, the emulator I'm using doesn't support a Cheat Function, I'v only done it on Virtual Boy and gone straight to Kanto. I use PlayGuy.

Wowzerz I forgot you could play that on a Emulator I have it on the actual gameboy lol. Maybe that's why I nevermind.

I first completed it on Gameboy.

I remember Pokemon Gold, i still have it somwhere under my bed, its probably infested with spiders but i may play on it again lol, how sad am i!

you COULD NOT find mew under the truck close to the SS Anne, trust me...i've tried it.
but you can obtain it w/o a gameshark(R/B/Y). just google "glitch city laboritories."


I went into a second obsession about pokemon earlier this year...yeah...it's sad, but now i'm on a final fantasy tangent.

but yes i still do have pokemon gold and do play it every once and awhile

I never played past the 2nd generation of games...250 was enough to collect

Pfft, i've played final fantasy 8 like 9 times to the end in my life and I always lose my memory card afterwards lol. before completing ultemacia's castle..grr.

I never could quite make it to the end of FFVIII. I always lost interest in it about halfway through the 2nd disc. Which reminds me, my little cousin still has that game.

My brother has my memory card somewhere heh. But he is on the run from the government, so I can't go and find him hahaha.
