Thread: Resident evil extinction

I'm not so excited about going to see it. I thought the last one was really stupid; poor acting, dumb plot, and the stupidest thing is that I hate that the theme of the movie is that the Alice character is some kinda superwoman, very STUPID for being a Resident Evil Movie. I hate what its become. I that part 1 was ok, when I first saw it, but now I see that it isn't getting any better from there.

Hell I have a free ticket to go see it, I got it from buying Silent Hill, the ticket was inside. Just give me your address and I'll mail it to you. I'm not going to see it. I'm stickin to the games. Atleast there I dont get a cheap low budget version of the Matrix performed by a bad acting female actress.

there is actually one movie i hate yes i hate just one movie... DATE MOVIE.... wtf is its deal i just dont get it... i like the scary movies and epic movie but not date movie


i have already seen res evil 3 twice now

and am prolly gona see it again


i loved silent hill and am looking forward to the second one


and now i better get back to paying attention to my computer science class before i fail it!

Well every movie based on video games sucks. Yes every one. But this one doesn't look that bad and I love zombie movies so I might give it a try.

I loved SMB! anyway I watched Extinction on tv links, it wasn't bad but I smell another sequel in the works.

I just saw Resident Evil: Extinction today. The effects and all are awsome but the storyline sucks. It was incredibly predictable and follows the hollywood movie formula as if every step it takes was measured under a microscope to make sure it fat in the footprint already imprinted in the mud perfectly.

Didn't like the Resident Evil movies, just because they messed around with an already set plot by the games. I mean, Nemesis becoming 'allies' with Alice in Re2? Fuck that. The one thing that always creeped me out about the zombies in Resident Evil were how they all had no pupils... since they didn't include that in the movies it just pissed me off.

I might see it just to watch it fall flat on its face.

I'll only get to watch this on the 19th when it starts screening here. I've never played the games and am personally more than comfortable with it's not having a brilliant plot. So long as everything makes sense while I'm watching it I'm all for a bit of zombie carnage.

Personally, I'd rather watch Dawn of the Dead again, or 28 Days Later.

Worse zombie movie ever made was house of the dead. I haven't seen this one but I might check it out.

I enjoyed the first one, the second one was mediocre and the third was decidedly lame. I want zombie on human action, not zombie on superhuman action.

I thought the movie was pretty good even though it had nothing to do with the game and Alice some crazy powers now as you will see.

I want to see a Resident Evil, 2, and 3, and a 4 that actually follow the games plot.

I think the black guy was a punk for not manning up and telling his comrades he was infected, I can understand he didn't want to die or be expelled from the group and be left for dead...but hey he was a walking death sentence anyway. Great movie though...he just needed morals and bigger balls.

I agree Jeff he should of told them he was infected just to let them know. Wonder if they are gonna make another Resident Evil.

How can they? An army of Alices walking around fighting zombies? That'll be even worse than the current plot.

They really messed up a good video game series with these movies.

I dunno man Resident Evil 5 looks pretty badass if you just seperate the movies from the films you still got the kickass vidoe games and the movie wasn't that bad.

Just saw it a couple of days ago with MellC and.........it was horrible. Bad bad bad.....bad movie. What the hell are the writers thinking? I bet they're saying to themselfs, we're in deep shit now, how the fuck are we going to connect or make up what comes up next now. Stupid movie, But I bet they dont care, as long as it has the RE name, people will spend their money just to watch it. I really wanted to write my bull shit of a review here but didn't want to put down the RE movie lovers out there. But come on guys this movie sucked!!! BIG! worse than the second.

P.S. ALASKA???!!!!!!! ALASKA? Why the fudge (I have to tone down my language) did they even mention it if they didn't even concluded the movie with that idea. BAD WRITING. They got monkeys writing the dumb story I tell ya!

I thought it was very good and realistic, except for one part: those hose and garters she was wearing the whole time really wouln't have held up her holsters very well.

Wow I guess a lot of people really didn't like the movie O.o

I don't know what you lot are complaining about, I thought this film was amazing. Sure it weren't the best film I saw this year *cough*transformers*cough* but it was still enjoyable although the ending was rather "unique".

But this is just my opinion, I never played the games so I can't comment on how it fits in.

I just saw this movie today and I quite enjoyed it. What I think people should do is not look at this like it was supposed to be a cinematic masterpiece and look at it for what it was; a cool action movie with a simple plot. Is it as good as the games? No, very little can rival those in terms of quality, we can't compare a cinematic adventure to a gaming experience. You just can't squeeze that much awesome into 2 hours.

That's because Uwe Boll made it. That man has absolutely no talent as a director, he just rapes game franchises because in Germany he gets tax breaks for making movies.

Don't forget that those other Alices sucked. There was a huge pile of corpses out the front to prove it. You could so totally wipe them out within the first 10 minutes.

Perhaps if we throw in some Las Plagas creatures or something.

I think RE-IV deviated too much from the REs. I really think zombies are scarier than parasites.

It maybe the other Alices suck. But don't forget that the real Alice is now going to train them to be just like her.

I thought the first 2 were really good, ofcourse I'm not that big of a critic, sure there were a bunch of improvements they could have made, specualy on the first one, why the heck didn't they just stick to the mansion setting, the secound was pretty good, though again I don't like the fact that alice had super powers, and it was stupid to put a character that didn't even belong in the video games, I know the reason why everyoen doesn't like the resident evil movies ofcourse, it's because it seems the directer tried dilibertly to make it a whole lot different from the video game I'm watching resident evil 3 right now online, I'll come post what I thought of it soon.

I also liked super mario bros. even though it's very low rated.

I havn't tried playing resident evil 4 but I'm not sure I'd like the new style, I really like the pre-rendered backgrounds they look so real.
