Sweet bike! I have a YZ 250 I bought off the show room floor and pushed it home.:) That was in 1999. Be careful on that thing Their definitely a lot of fun until you get hurt. I had a couple of good crashes but never any injuries too bad. I think I had at least one broken rib once, and a sprained ankle. Pretty Lucky for how crazy I got sometimes. I haven't ridden much lately But I plan to get on it again.
Do you race, Or just play around with it? I love watching the pros when they come to Minnesota.
I race, i was one spot out of going into the pro class this year but next year i should get bumped up into it.
Ive had my crazy crashes too haha, name a bone, ive broken it.
um, maybe you don't need that bike, lol. Don't want the next bone to beak to be your neck :?
Believe me, I'm not anti-recreational vehicle - I grew up a farm so riding dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, and snowmobiles are like second nature to me, but you can't get stupid on them. I personally know a couple of kids that I went to school with that are either paralyzed now, or dead, because of accidents on these things.
Be careful! You are not invincible!
Wow, pro class! You must be really good on that thing, And in great shape.
I never did any racing, except against my brother just for fun. There were a couple of tracks that we were able to ride on for practice. My brother races a little bit also.
yeah, that's a scary story Burns. It's definitely a dangerous sport. I love moto cross but not enough to kill myself over it. The pros always make it look so easy. Just flying through those rhythm sections wide open Like it's nothing.
Stay Safe!
