      Elect The Dead; Serj Tankian's Solo Album

      Here's something I thought was so good it was worth sharing.
      Serj Tankian, Lead singer of System of a Down, has recorded a solo album and you can listen a couple of it's songs on his site:

      I don't know how new/old this news is, but I thought I'd share the musical/poetical greatness of my alltime favorite, poetic, mystical, musical superhero Serj Tankian. Although in the last 4 years of my Life I have been lead to a whole broader and different spectrum of musical styles, System of a Down have always been my favourite band.

      I'm glad to hear that the musical mastermind behind the typical mystical/dramatical/Schizophrenic sound of System of a Down, which is what I adore so much about them , comes from Serj Tankian. I can tell by his solo music. The man is a genius. Just wanted to share the wonderfull feelings his songs induce in me; Truely religious/deep spiritual states. Enjoy. or don't

      Serj is a god. System of a Down is one of my favourite bands, just because they weren't afraid to take their music where noone had really gone before. Serj is a maniacal freak, and I love him.

      I love old school system. Their new stuff is... eh. Not exactly noteworthy for me.

      I wanted to hurl a cinder block at Tankian for the one song they overplay constantly on the radio. I hate it, but I love old system. But that single and their new stuff is just a turnoff...
