I've seen a program like that before, I'll check those out...
there have been specials like this on discovery channel. But this is pretty cool too, Im always for learning more
but I dont like how they call the knee a kick. its a "knee". Kicks are with the feet, lol. so, of course tkd is gonna have the strongest kicks. I love watching these kind of things anyway. :D
Hell yea! I'm all about this kind of stuff. Good find, as always, O.
I liked how they broke down the Gracie Jiu Jitsu style. They are one of powerhouse fighting teams at Pride from Brazil who take on and win against all other styles. For those that aren't familiar with Pride, might not be aware of the chess match that occurs with grappling and the damage it can deliver. It doesn't matter how much training you have if you aren't ready to deal with someone coming in to grapple.
Also, being in Japan and a strong believer in Zen, I always planned on taking Iaido one of these days. That last video just convinced me to start to looking for a school. I already know of a pretty good one in Nagoya. Being a student of Iaido is one of the only ways you can walk around carrying a katana. (sheathed of course)
