      ...that is wicked!
I read about some experiments like this last year where they were moving simple blocks around with their thoughts, but I didn't know it was this close to being a reality.

I think this could help with lucid dreamers out there who have control issues in their LDs. Like the guy said in one of the videos, telekinesis would be a common use in games. So if you see real results on screen in the real world when you try and move something with your mind, I think it would make it much easier to get the same result in a dream for anyone who struggles with it.

EDIT: Just read about the Emokey software... Thats like the best thing ever! Imagine surfing dreamviews with your thoughts, hahaha.

That's inspiring. It looks so non-invasive, too.

If it can detect the players unconscious emotions, as the site claims, then it's only a matter of time before it is used for advertising and politics...

Looks pretty cool. think of google and think of whatever you want that you cannot find typing. Make research ALOT quicker. DON'T GET A VIRUS!!! neurons will make you see hallucinations like crazy, maybe shut down and your neurons will be gone, and you too. NOEZ!!!

Anyway, imagine playing a war game, think of a gun in your hand and it's there. What would be really sweet is a technology that lets you feel the atmosphere aswell and transports you INTO the game. If it's rainy you feel all wet, hot you start getting warm, cold you shiver, etc. THAT WOULD RULE!!! i'd wait for a tropical island with white sand, and crystal clear water far as the eye can see, no mountains, pine trees, sun at high noon, wam out, and the best feeling breeze to top it off. I'd lay there forever, maybe sometimes you can see dolphins heads pop in and out, or fish jump in and out of the water. Go fishing, play video games while i'm in this video game (lol).

      Cool, buy me it plz!

Flanders, that will probably be possible when they invent that internet-brain chip. I heard someone already tried moving a robotic hand over the internet by connecting a chip to the nerves in his arm. Must check though, do a quick google search, but don't get a virus NOEz!

That video has a very futuristic feel to it lol, like an advert from that movie Minority Report ..."It's the world's first consumer neural headset,..."

I am incredibly interested in this, both the product and the SDK behind it. I would love to get my hands on one of these.

I can just imagine it... I come home, put the headset on, music comes on playing just the appropriate selection depending on the mood. I sit down in front of the computer, the background has changed to reflect my mood, and not using a keyboard/mouse, I enter a game and show off my sharp, quick thinking by being able to shoot with pinpoint accuracy with quick reflexes. Or use impressive 'telekinesis' skills to do all sorts of craziness. This... is the future.

Cool, I hope it is expensive and they make a software to work on the computer. I have always joked about going from my wireless mouse and keyboard, and then using voice to do things (which I do do), going from that to just sitting there staring at the screen. That would be great. I think how it would have to be done is simply make it detect the brain wave patterns of the mouse moving in different directions, and then of different words maybe. Then maybe it can graduate to actual functions (opening things, etc.). Wow, great stuff.

They are. They have software called EmoKey. You can bind brain activity to keyboard strokes. I can't wait. Going to be so awesome.

There will be no such thing as a "n00b" then. Play the perfect music, get you going, and watch your FPS aim go into aimbot like. When i am "in the zone" i'm......crazy sick. Sucks i am not in the zone alot.

I can't view the link here at work without flashplayer but I sort of get the gist of it from the context of the posts. If you were to couple what this sounds like with this technology you would have the matrix fully realized.

so after looking at the site, its only $299 and will be available this year. This is crazy. I will almost definitely get one of these.

Hey does anyone live near San Francisco? If you do you should check out the beta testing opportunity

It would be interesting to see what kind of mood I'm in. I feel "emotionless" a lot of the time, it's depressing ().

Well, it may sound ridiculous because I live on the other side of the country, but I sent in an application for the beta testing on this thing. I hope I get it.
