No, I'm not into this show. I do like some of the actors in it, just not the show itself. |

I just wondered if anyone else is into this show. I suspect my small town upbringing is a big part of the appeal for me, though some of the actors also have a great screen presence, and it does a good job of exploring the basic premise without getting too political in any one direction. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Current Lucid count for 2008: 28
"Men cry not for themselves, but for their comrades."
Weird, I've watched the whole series twice and some episodes more. A lot of the better actors and characters are absent from this season, it seems--the old man, of course, and we haven't seen the kid shop-owner and his gf. The brother, Eric, and the blonde girl, Emily, are kind of weak points for me, and they figure more prominently in this season. |
