      Canceled Shows

There have been so many shows (cartoons namely) that have been canceled. Whether it was too early, or you just wish it could have lasted, what were they?

Just a 'short' list of shows that I miss:
      Mission Hill
      Undergrads
      Clone High
Futurama (it came back and all, but when it was canceled I was so pissed)
      Quantum Leap
      Rocko's Modern Life
Are You Afriad of the Dark
      Outer Limits
      Dilbert
      Duckman

Some of these need resolution, ended with a cliffhanger. All the ones that aren't on DVD need to be (oh Duckman I miss you). If I were a wealthy wealthy man, my money would go to funding some of these lost gems (and I'd probably make my money back and then some).

Two more to add to the list:

      Invader Zim
Sonic the Hedgehog (AKA "SATaM"). It took over 14 years to come out on dvd and ended with the biggest cliffhanger ever.

I wish I knew why it is so hard to give appropriate closure to cartoons.

      Veronica Mars
      Journeyman
      The 4400
      The Dead Zone
Dead Like Me (There's a dvd movie coming, but I miss the series)

I'm sure there are more that I can't think of right now.

I completely agree with Rocko's Modern Life, Clone High and Invader Zim. Those shows were the best. I would just like to add in Rohnin Warriors. I dont ever remember them showing the full series, but I loved catching it in the morning whenever I could

I can't believe I forgot Samurai Jack. I love that show.

So there is hope for it. Also by Genndy Tartakovsky, man was Dexter's Lab a good show.

I totally agree on Recess too. Another awesome Disney show was Filmore! which lasted like two seasons or something.

Nice, you mentioned Undergrads, Clone High and Duckman! Those are the shows that I would have listed. They were so good, and ended in annoying cliffhangers (well, except for Undergrads, which kind of ended on a lesson).

      Invader Zim, and Firefly.

I would say Stargate, but I think they should have ended sooner. The last few seasons have been absolute bollucks compared to the rest.

Reboot! Loved that show, it was so corny and cheesy, but its what made it awesome. But cliffhanger like you wouldn't believed

1-800-Missing (alternatively just "Missing") was another one I really liked.

Why was Futurama canceled in the first place?

Stargate was a good show, but all shows must leave at some point. It was Stargate's time. It does, however, continue with Stargate: Atlantis.

A couple of shows that I loved to watch were Trigun and Cinematech. Trigun was definitely one of my favorite shows of all time (now I gotta buy the dvds) and cinematech could mesmerize me to the end.

Definitely Samurai Jack and Invader Zim. I heard Invader Zim was canceled because it was too suggestive. It was a little suggestive for the typical Nickelodeon audience, but it was such an awesome show.

Invader Zim wasn't suggestive!?! I've seen every episode at least 3 times, and there is only violent and gross content!
      Bollocks.

Thats my favourite comedy! EVER! I'm obsessed with that show! I watched all 3 seasons 3 times in a row. a couple eps each day.
At least a movie is coming Can't wait for that. Taste the happy Michael!

I agree with Stargate SG1, but its still around in movie form at least. One movie out, another one coming and a strong possibility of more after that. And a third Stargate series should be starting probably next year, its being written and pitched now.
