No way! I love that band! Where did you see them?

Man, when I was in high school, practically my whole bedroom wall was covered with Iron Maiden posters. I never went a day without listening to them, and I used to draw Eddie, their freaky mascot, all over and inside my notebooks. I was such a fanatic. I still think they are great. But personally, I think Paul Di'Anno was a better lead singer than Bruce Dickinson. I really wish they had kept Paul.

The last concert I saw was Steely Dan at the New Orleans jazz festival last year. I almost went this year on the last day, but we got drunk and got lost turning off some country highway going from Vicksburg to New Orleans and got to New Orleans too late for the festival.

Got to see the Disco Biscuits at a free outdoor concert on Thursday.

It was great but it was so hot and humid it was hard to enjoy.

Then right as they were playing the last song it started to pour rain.
Everyone ran away until there were only about 200 people left and instead of wrapping up they blasted a jam of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' and about 100 of us started moshing in the rain and mud. They did two other songs before wrapping up too. It was epic.

I guess it was Moe in march--my buddy gave me the ticket and they put on a decent show, but nothing spectacular. A good place to dance at least. I'll probably hit a festival fourth-of-july weekend, but I've got nothing on the books until then.

I saw them in calgary. it was like the the 2nd or third concert of this tour so they had so much energy. They were running all over the stage. A 13ft mechanical Eddie came out and walked on the stage and air guitar. There was flames, fireworks, and extended solos on some of their classics. It was the best concert ever!!!!!

I am glad you told me about that tour. I really need to see them somewhere. I have never been to one of their concerts.

Do small gigs count? Last one was at a pub with a whole load of obscure punk bands. Was actually really good...

Good Charlotte back in mid April, not that I like them that much but it was at a college only 10 minutes from my house and was the most exciting happening. It was actually an awesome concert though.

      Wolfmother last year.

      Surprisingly, they were really good.

I went to a small local concert 2 weeks ago in support of a band from my school. It was pretty awesome, me and my friends moshed until we were on the brink of passing out from exhaustion. I'm going to another one this Friday that's going to have more bands.

      No fair

The last concert I saw was back in September. It was Nightwish. The opening band was Paradise Lost.

I'm going to the Nightwish concert this September as well. The opening band is going to be Sonata Arctica. I'm very much looking forward to this. I love both of those bands.

All their whining is annoying, and the songs sounds all the same to me.

Oh I forgot to mention that before Muse, the Kaiser Chiefs played. I caught them about in the middle of the concert, didn't know any of their songs but I liked them.

Before that one it was a Pink Floyd Cover band called The Machine

Trans Siberian Orchestra last winter, the best show I've ever been to.

I'm hoping to see Dream Theater in concert one day.

Foo Fighters concert in April, definitely in the top 3 bands i've ever seen live, they were absolutely fantastic. Also they were supported by The Mess hall and Kaki King (Her act was superb). Foo Fighters played for like 3 hours and did 8 freakin encore songs, it was insane.
When I was in high school I was very ambitious, I wanted to be the Class President but I missed out by only about 3 votes.

So they made me the Class Secretary of Defence.

For some reason, I like their older stuff better. I had a few of their CDs but they just didn't do it for me. Then I listened to their stuff from when they were under the name Savatage and they are one of my favorite bands.

Roger Waters last year. It was fantastic. That's all I can say. There's a perfumed haze over my memories of that night. (Joking)

Yeah, I personally like Savatage better than TSO as well. But the live show TSO puts on is fantastic.
