Prince Caspian for hero, heh. For hero AND villain, a character called Gerald Tarrant. For villain, maybe the newest Joker. The first two are from books, btw.
Favorite villain would have to be Korrok.
Hero... IDK
Villian... Joker
Favorite hero... I'll have to come back to that. I know my favourite villain is the Black Suit, and later Venom, from Spiderman. The symbiote, not specifically the symbiote as fused with the amateur reporter. The symbiote rwas awesome, for any number of reasons. Hero.. Hero... I can't think of anything really aside from comic book heroes (Batman) or futuristic Matrix-style films (don;t particularly like any of thbem). hmmm...Aha! The time -bender from.. No, hold it, x-men. not a hero, but.. Gah. Lost it. It may have been shadowcat or nightcr- Wolverine. Wolverine rocks. Relative immortality, high threshold of damage, adamantium-coated skeleton and claws (though magnetic, and electrically conductive), healing factor, hidden past... I knew it wasn;t Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman version) I was thinking of. I knew I'd get to it eventually.
Edit: A lot of people are saying Joker. Is this because of the new Batman movie? Because I far prefer Ras al Ghul, Selina Kyle/Catwoman (who can occasionally be classed as a superhero), really a number of villains specifically from the batman universe. I haven't seen the new film, though, so I'm going off recent cartoons and old comics.
Hmm...I'm not sure who my favorite hero/villian is...
I guess I would say my favorite hero/villian is Light Yagami from Death Note. He counts as both.
Hero: The Prophet Velen
Leading a race of people to safety from millions of demons defiantly makes you a hero.
Villain: The Lich King
Converting millions of creatures into mindless zombies, driving a race of spider people to the brink of extinction and taking over an entire continent makes you a huge villain.
I was doing by heroes of the more traditional sort, like SUperman or the dragonball Z characters, or batman albeit his lack of powers. If you expand that to include relatively normal humans with no inhgerent special powers or technological imitations of powers (unless you count the deathnote as Light's power and not an effect of the universes), that'll expand it to the point that it is impoissible to choose. THough light is a far more interesting villain than Venom (probably at least as interesting as the symbiote). (And a protagonist does not a hero make. He's more of an anti-villain, or antihero, whichever is which.)
My favorite villan is Johan from the manga/anime Monster. This kid is a genious in every way, and is very complex...but he can kill coldly. I have no idea who they will find to play him in the live action movie next year...
Favorite hero...pretty hard to call. I am going with Nighcrawler from X-men. His powers were just the coolest to me and his way of fighting I love.
I suppose it would. I';m only halfway through the 8th volume, and it;s been a while since I had the volumes where he was testing it. But yeah, now that you mention it, he did start out as more of a hero.
i classify light as a hero even though he went kinda kooky in the end... :P it made me mad...but i would have to say he is still my favorite hero for now.oh drat i just remembered howl's moving castle...i may have to change it to howl oh! or san from princess mononoke... i can't decide there are too many...
my favorite villain would probably have to be (don't make fun of me now... ) ahem* vegeta from dbz  . thats just in anime/manga though. i don't really remember any classical villains or heroes. i will have to get back to you on that one.
hero: don't know
villain - voldemort :]!
River Kohaku is cool in Spirited Away, but mainly because he can alternat between human and dragon form.
And don;t worry about it, I considered Vegeta, too, for a villain. There are enough villains in anime that it;s hard to keep track enough to have a long-term favorite.
Hate to state the obvious here, but:

For villain, after seeing The Dark Knight, I have to say the Joker. His character is really complex and yet so seemingly simple, in kind of a paradoxical manner.... It's hard to explain, but there's just so much to his character, and he's simply fascinating.
Something incredibly unexpected that late in the comic occurs, and it skips two years later. The only things I can think of that wouldn;t be too extreme spoiler are thatone of whom changes for the worse by book 8. Pretty much everything is spoiler-worthy.Spoiler for spoilers:
Hm...would these 2 new characters just happen to be related to another main character?
For both: Tyler Durden :D
^ lol nice. that movie is interesting.i love the flaming smiley face.
Batman and the Joker (sure, you haven't heard that one before)...oh well, I'm sticking to it.
