Image Metrics

I mentioned this in another post but realized that people might not have seen it to get the reference.

This is a demo for a new technique to render CGI faces in a further attempt to break the uncanny valley.

In case you can't tell, the whole clip is actually computer generated. Emily's not a real person.

When the movie Advent Children was made, they actually said that if they wanted to, they could make the graphics completely life-like, but decided not too because then they might as well just make it live action.

Anyways, that's pretty neat.
