Thread: Dead Space

I just rented it today...

And I am going to play it right now

I think I might get it for the 360. I've looked at the plot on Wikipedia, does anyone else get reminded of Halo and The Flood?

The graphics on it are amazing.

I'm not a big fan of the camera angle though...but I've gotten used to it.

I think its amazing, the visuals and sound design are top grade stuff. Really want to sink some serious time into it but i've been too busy

Yeah, they remind me of Halo's Flood. Except creepier.

ugh this game is just too intense for me, I cant play for more than a half hour at a time

I just beat this game...it was freaking awesome...

I may just play through it again and use cheats to upgrade everything now.

But man...what an ending!

how many chapters are there? i'm up to chapter 7 atm.

I love this game too its a real scary game to play and i just love the weapons and dismembering the alien creatures.

There are 12 chapters.

Yeah, beat it on medium difficulty. You get used to the atmosphere after a while.

The blood on the walls becomes "oh, more blood". Shit doesn't faze me anymore.

At one point in the game, there's some writing on a wall that tells you what the alien writing means.

I forget where it's at though...

Also, if you take all the first letters of all the chapter names, it spells something out. I don't want to say it as it would cause spoilers.

The movie is good, too. Lots of blood. You can tell how it follows the game story, but it's not bad.

I didn't know there was a movie until yesterday...

When I get the money, I'm going to go rent it :3
