      FILM: Se7en

      Plot:
      A film about two homicide detectives' desperate hunt for a serial killer who justifies his crimes as absolution for the world's ignorance of the Seven Deadly Sins. The movie takes us from the tortured remains of one victim to the next as the sociopathic "John Doe" sermonizes to Detectives Sommerset and Mills -- one sin at a time. The sin of Gluttony comes first and the murderer's terrible capacity is graphically demonstrated in the dark and subdued tones characteristic of film noir. The seasoned and cultured Sommerset researches the Seven Deadly Sins in an effort to understand the killer's modus operandi while green Detective Mills scoffs at his efforts to get inside the mind of a killer.

      How surreal. My friend just told me about this movie yesterday. I'm really excited to see it. It sounds a lot like a short story I wrote once.

      One of my favorite movies of all time as well.

      It was made only better because I watched it for the first time on my Zune in the middle of a church service.

      I did not like it. All the scenes were greatly executed and done, and in that respect, some of it was pretty inspiring and had great feeling, but I felt the plot was a bad excuse for some of the gory scenes, and that it got as much praise as it did because of the supporting cast.

      please don't take any offense, its just my thought on it. I've seen it a few times and its great at constructing a dreary and frightening feeling, but the plot is a let down. The ending was pretty good to I thought.

      Now, why would someone watch a film multiple times if they didn't like it?

      I felt it was slow at some points, and sometimes just boring and didn't really go anywhere with the plot, doesn't make it a bad movie though.

      Nothing in any other movie can replace the scene where John Doe turns himself in.
