You hear bout Phelps and him smoking marijuana? thoughts?
Personally i don't see the problem, it's not like he's using steroids...
I mean come on, it doesn't hurt anyone else, and wow the guy that took the photo and spread it around is a... wow... dick.I have a dream...

Well for one he passed his drug test for the olympics, all they have is a picture of him with a bong. It means absolutely nothing against his credibility as an athlete except for the raging PMSing soccer mom opinions
For two, if he had failed his drug test, even for ganja, he would have been stripped of all his medals, just like that snowboarder was at the last winter olympics (personally I think he should have gotten an extra medal for training and smoking weed at the same time)
For three, there's already a thread about this in senseless banter
Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

You don't know if he would have been stripped. I mean those Chinese chicks definitely weren't stripped for being 12 yrs old or whatever. (I mean... as far as I know. But I could be completely out of the loop at this point.)

Yeah, I think he would have been stripped because everyone who's ever tested positive for cannabinoids has been stripped of their medals in the history of the olympics. Not everything about the last olympics was legitimate, but if I know the world, they still think anyone who smokes pot is an evil hellspawn.

What? His athletic skills are now all a lie and I cannot accept him as a human being. What a liar. I cannot believe this nonsense. How could he possibly have stooped to a disgusting level? I will never let my child place their eyes on his face or anything documenting him as he is obviously all that represents evil in our world.
Seriously... he's probably done some illegal training that is more athletically ethically challenging than marijuana..
