I've recently gotten into this fantastic series of novels, and I must say, it has quickly gained my favor.

The Dresden Files is a fictional book series residing primarily in the sci-fi and mystery/detective genres. As the News-Star notes, the Dresden Files melds the wonder and fun of the Harry Potter series, but with an adult tone and attitude. The set main character of the series is a professional and destitute wizard named Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. Each story of the Dresden Files involves its own unique mystery--usually beginning with a bizarre and tragic murder, a tormented ghost, or even a rain of toads--in which Harry inevitably partakes. Accompanied by a compelling plot, exciting adventure, and endless dangers, the Dresden Files makes a splendid series from the beginning to the end.

Overall, if you're a fan of magic, puzzles, and sci-fi, the Dresden Files will definitely be worth checking out.
