Thread: American Idol: Season 8

im not very good with names but i really like the girl with the arm tat.
She has a unique voice.
I think "lil rounds" is wayyy too much like fantashia from the past american idol.
But i do predict that the guy with black hair (adam i believe) will make it pretty far.

I haven't been following it, but from youtube vids I like Danny best. Aww I hope he wins!!

Who the hell is that new judge. I mean the only judge's opinion that actually matters is Simon's... Why would they want to throw in yet another person into the useless judges pile?

I can't stand American Idol. But, somehow, I always wind up following it. I'm not sure how. I've been doing good this year though, I have no idea who is in it.

i know!! that new judge is stupid! Noone like her, much less listens to anything she has to say!! Hopefully she wont be around next season!

haha, I never intended to pay attention to this show, but my girlfriend won't stop watching it, so I happen to sit down with her while it's on.

danny and adam are definitely the ones that stand out - two totally different styles. although adam is definitely a superior performer, danny has more of a memorable voice.

however, the sex appeal that adam has gives him a severe advantage over Danny, considering that most of the viewers are female.....plus my girl goes crazy when he's on.....I hate that guy

I cant believe that blonde went home this week-
her voice was the only one that was unique.
But i did LOVE how that one guy snapped on the new judge!
Baha--maybe she'll get the hint and not come back next season.

(Didn't really like the last note, but the rest of it was phenomenal.)

And there isn't really anyone this season I care too much about (Though I hope Lil starts picking some better songs, because she's got a powerhouse voice, but her song choices are horrible), but I have to say that I absolutely fuckin love the sound of Allison's voice. Seriously. She's got that perfect, vintage, 80's rocker chick type of voice nailed. She could use just a little more refinement, because she slips every now and then, but she definitely has my favorite sound out of anybody in the competition.

Shit. I just got goosebumps listening to that version of Mad World. WOW. Okay. That was amazing.

Eh, I thought his Madworld was pretty good, but other than that, nothing special.

Adam Lambert will probably win because of the stage experience he has, hes a performer and knows how to own the stage and to rip the mic, and hes amazingly hot and I want him to be mine! lol

I duno what everyones obsession with danny is, hes a great guy and his story is sad but i think he sucks at performing flat out.

If Adam doesn't win im gonna be forever mad

I normally don't watch it but I'm watching it now (because Fringe is about to come on) and Kris Allen was AWESOME. I had goosebumps during his whole song.
Lil Rounds has a beautiful voice but her pitch seemed wayyy off to me.

Adam all the way cmon its obvious hes like in a whole other league, him and allison are just pro's in my opinion if adam or allison don't win then the fans who voted are such asses.

I think it's going to end up Allison and Adam, no matter who wins, they will get a record contract though.

I wasn't too fond of anoops singing, it kind of hurt my ears to be honest, same with danny.

I think that lil rounds should of stayed longer and they should of booted danny gokey and anoop, I just don't understand what people see in danny or anoop.

Sure, danny is cute, his story is heartbreaking but I have the feeling hes getting the sympathy vote from the fans of the show, To me his vocals are annoying, hoarse and at times whiney and its like hes trying too hard.

Same goes for anoops voice, it just makes my ears hurt, he sounds like a wannabe star or karaoke lounge singer.

When you stack up kris, matt and danny to allison and adam, to me they are in the minor leagues compared to adam and allison
