Thread: 100 Movies to See Before You Die (...and 99 That Will Kill You)

I've seen about 5 or 6 . I watched some of them briefly, like pieces of the lord of the rings movies.

And the second list, I've watched like 1. Guess I'm not a big movie person.

I saw probably a dozen or so from the first list, and about 20 (or a few more) from the second. There are a few that made me say, "Yah, I probably should watch that eventually..."

Apparently you have to watch Schindler's List (which I also recommend) and then later watch it again for a finishing blow

So far I've seen 24 of the ones I should before I die. And I've only seen 4 that will kill me. I wonder what this means.

I've seen 64 of the movies to see before I die and 42 of the movies that will kill me dead.

I need to get out more..

28 and 15. Hahaha, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is on the kill list because of boredome. Titanic is on both lists, it's on the kill list because of boredome also.

WTF. Titanic? I wish i never saw that movie.

I've watched 13 and 2 of them in their respective lists.

I'm not sure if I should be proud of that or not.

I've seen 28 of the first list, not counting a few I've only seen parts of. Oddly, many I've seen I'm doubting most of you have. Like Singing in the Rain and Bringing Up Baby (kickass classic). I'm disappointed at the lack of some humdingers like Ghostbusters, True Grit, Tombstone, The Cowboys, The Man From Snowy River, Mrs. Doubtfire, Shenandoah, Back to the Future, The Princess Bride, and The Lion King, just to name a bare few.

I've seen 14 from the second list, and I must speak out for Ernest Goes To Camp and Steel Magnolias! Both great movies in their own sort of way. Sure, Ernest is low-budget blather, but c'mon. You just can't fault Jim Varney for doing his thing.

Damn right! I love Ernest. Ernest Goes to Camp was nothing short of amazing, and I've seen Earnest Scared Stupid more times than I can count. Heh.

Ack. I'm too lazy to count, but I know I've seen a ton of the good ones because I watch a lot of old movies and Alfred Hitchcocks.

I think Ernest Goes To Africa, Ernest Rides Again, and Ernest Goes To Jail are my favorites, with Ernest Goes to Camp and Ernest Goes to School coming in close behind. Not sure if I've seen Ernest Scared Stupid!

What a dull list!

The latter list being mostly horror movies and the ones listed as "shock" (Requiem for a Dream, Oldboy).

I'm glad Princess Mononoke is on that list. I have the feeling it's underappreciated because it's an anime.
