Thread: Anyone currently play Runescape?

I played it years ago...

slayer200270 was the name, and slaying was the game!

i despise that game.

Runescape is for cheap people who don't want to pay for Warcraft.

I played Runescape for like, 2 weeks and thought it was garbage. I played World of Warcraft for like, a month, and realized that MMO's are such a waste of my time. But some people enjoy them.

I went on Runescape once.

I still don't feel clean.

I played it when I was younger then I realised I would have more fun making paper figurines with swords.
I now play WoW.... Alot.

I played Runescape for a little while, and by this I mean I downloaded it and quit about a week after playing. Wasn't very fun to me.

MMOs don't have the same atmosphere that they used to.

I can't play it.. I tried back then. The graphics made me sad. I play WoW.. err I did.

I guess I'm the odd man out on this one lol. I've had WoW for 3 weeks now and I haven't played a single time *ouch*
I also now have EQ2 because some money appeared on my credit card and SOE automatically took out a cut even though I've not been in game since January lol. EQ2 is my truest joy but I'm antisocial and if my guild hasn't kicked me out yet they're going to wonder where the heck I've been lol..

Runescape is just.... simple. Simple graphics but complex quests and a great (though wearisome) xp/skill system. They've updated the game a lot. It now has slightly better graphics, PVP free zones and a great trade center.

I need to learn how to make signatures!!! I'd love one for all my good toons in various games but my Runescape toon is so nicely rounded I'm very proud of her

I tried going into Runescape, but no one would help when I caleld out so I was like "you know, screw this and screw all of you"

NOW!! I know an even better game that both you and your son should play. It's called mabinogi. It's like runescape with all the cutting trees and fishing but with amazing graphics and it's very unique

YAY, Admiral! I don't feel so lonely anymore I've had my toon for many years too. I go through phases of playing a lot, then I can't stand to play at all.

Dorpis, I DO play that lol. But I haven't in a very long time. I became frustrated trying to compose songs I also have an account on Dream of Mirror Online. I like it more than Mabinogi, but I haven't even played it in a long time. I even have a $20. game card that I haven't used yet lol

i havent played in years. I played way before it went all 3D. It's called classic RS now lol

I used to play it. Then I sold my account for about $500. Then I recovered my account.... Then i sold it again for about the same price, and recovered it AGAIN. this cycle repeated 3 times until my account was banned, and I moved on.

I got the account from a friend to begin with, lol. So I never spent a minute doing anything but killing a few people, then making money from this scam.

If anyone has a good account, and doesn't want it, give it to me. =D

God I want to play Final Fantasy XI online again...

I personally think all MMOs are stupid and a waste of time, but I used to find Runescape enjoyable when I was 12.

I'm such a goody-goody that I could never do that but boy I'm still envious!

When my friends were sucked into the craze of free MMO's back in middle school, I had a really shitty compy (windows ME. bleeaarrgh) and dialup internet. I tried downloading the runescape game code and it took all night, and my computer wouldn't run it. We also tried Maplestory after I got my new computer, and it fell out of favor after everybody got to around level 15-20.

There is still one MMO that I do play: Kingdom of Loathing. I've got an account on that from 2004--old enough to remember the gray plague and White Wednesday.
