It was fucking awesome. Kubrick and Kirk Douglas are 2 of my favorite people in film. The visual effects are great(not so much in the battle scenes as in the outdors and city scenes). It had a great story of rebelion and believing in something more important than your own life.
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

      Penn & Teller Get Killed

I'm a huge fan of Penn and Teller, their stage shows, TV shows, political and social views... all of it... but this movie... no so much.
I liked the idea of increasingly elaborate and intense practical jokes culminating in the "last laugh" so to speak... but it was not very funny and the script was too poorly written with the only way the plot moved along was with bad explanations by other characters.
With the proper author this movie could've been one of the greatest movies of all time... now you can't even buy it in America without lucking out and finding the VHS on Ebay or a bargain bin at a Goodwill.

      10/10 for concept and characters
      -3/10 for execution
      -3/10 for the final scene

      4/10 total.

      Lets see...

      Punisher: War Zone.

To be honest, I hated it. The other one was so much better. This wasn't him punishing it was just him slaughtering.

      Safe Men

Hilarious, smart, and clever. I loved it. Had some pretty great moments in it. I suggest it to anyone.

      Knowing

I saw this movie Friday night and I thought it was a really good movie. Extremely suspenseful and the special effects are brilliantly done, the ending is really awesome IMO

I saw dodge ball the other day. It's a great movie! also, I never noticed before, but in the scene where they bribe him to get rid of average joe's for 100 grand, the globo-gym guy says "where is the library" in spanish.

Last week or so ago I saw Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid for the first time. It wasn't as funny as I expected it to be, what being written by William Goldman and all. Still, it had its moments, and the interaction between Paul Newman and Robert Redford was amazing.

Madea goes to Jail was completely retarded.
Madea was pretty much irrelevant to the storyline and it's not really that funny.
It's more of sucky romantic comedy to sum it up.

Friday the 13th was very entertaining but it should've stayed to the original story, not give jason steroids.
He was atleast 50+lbs stockier then the original jason and runs like he's in the olympics.

Taken was incredible, saw it twice. I'd recommend anyone to see it.

Inkheart was decent, fairly childish but i was high without the 5's so it's all good.

The Happening was good saw it last week on DVD but the ending could've been better.

I'd have to say the 5 best movies i've seen in the last year would be
Vanilla Sky, Fight Club, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Taken, and Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

      Watchmen.

The visuals and the soundtrack were very well done, I liked the way the opening credits were handled, and the film stayed fairly close to the graphic novel (the major exception being the ending). Hey, they even had Dan's snow-cape thing (even though the hood was left down so it didn't make him resemble a big fluffy owl).

I saw Ladyhawke the other day (after being inspired by listening to the recording artist Ladyhawke). I haven't seen that movie in years. Anything with werewolves rocks my world, so I can forgive the cheesy love story.

Plus, the soundtrack kicks ass! Nothing says "galloping horses" like hardcore 80s synth-rock.

(...but seriously, Teen Wolf was a great movie! I mean, come on...playing 'seven minutes in heaven' with a hot chick and practically tearing her shirt to shreds in the process? What teenage boy couldn't relate to that? Haha.)

My friend made an incredible Teen Wolf costume last haloween. Then he got in a big fight with his girlfriend at the bar and disappeared for the rest of the night. I just imagine him running through the rain in his werewolf costume and basketball shorts crying. Howling at the moon, "ANGIE!!!!!"

      LMFAO!

I don't know what's funnier: that image, or one of him - still dressed as the werewolf - sitting alone at some bar and sulking over the fight with his girlfriend, having shot after shot while being passively consoled by the bartender.

      The Power Rangers Movie

Why? I was at a friend's house. The movie was there. They put it in. We laughed. The movie was so scratched, though, that the DVD player stopped reading it every now and then and we had to skip past those parts. I was never into the Power Rangers, but I'm not totally unfamiliar with them, so I laughed.

Rangers: Oh noes! These creatures are too powerful!
Tommy (aka. White Ranger): I'm on my way! Jumps in and destroys the bad guys.

      Repeat at least x5.

      Wow.

I just watched Eagle Eye and I absolutely loved it.
I have a short attention span and usually multi-task events. Whenever I watch tv or movies, I tend to play video games. Eagle Eye had my complete attention, which is the first time in a long time that I can say that.

I just watched Happy Go Lucky.
I'm not into romance or much comedy and drama's often bore me. This movie was no different.
It was very slow and ended oddly. But it still made me laugh and smile and want to cry at parts. I wouldn't watch it again. The actors were great though and the story was decent. It was just much too slow paced.

It made me think about female relationships though. Not as in lesbian but simple friendship. The women in the movie weren't gay but they were very close which is nice. I've never been that close to people but have known people who are and it makes me a little envious

It also made me wonder why some nationalities say "idear" instead of "idea". Is their word spelled the same? Why do they put an "r" at the end of some words?

I watched The Prestige for the first time last night, and was pretty blown away. I remember reading very good things about it when it was released, and now having seen Nolan's Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, my expectations were very high. I think it's best to go into this movie with as little knowledge about it as possible. All I knew were some basics about the plot and who the actors were, but that was it. I hadn't even seen any footage from it. Well, my expectations were met and exceeded. It held my attention throughout and right up to end I was on the edge of my seat (figuratively speaking). I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I'm not a big Lindsay Lohan fan, but I watched Georgia Rule yesterday/today/earlier and it was really good, I liked it. Kept me watching and entertained. I'd have to say it's the best acting done by Lohan, that I've seen.
