Project Pandora [B]
~ I'll give this some attention, maybe get it going again some time in the future
Last in theatres? Slumdog Millionaire the weekend after it won 8 Grammys. It was good, but not movie of the year good. The credits ruined it... |

"I can’t sleep. There is a woman stuck between my eyelids. I would tell her to get out if I could. But there is a woman stuck in my throat." -Eduardo Galeano
The Lost Boys (1987) |
I just saw Yes Man. |
Matinee - Pretty decent, it had a good bunch of laughs and whatnot. Really interesting take on the Cuban Missle Crisis and all. |
The last movie that I saw was the Uninvited. The movie was not bad there were parts that made me jump. All in all good movie if you like to jump. Elizabeth Banks does a great job in the movie as well. |

Devan Charity
I rented "Chrysalis (sp)" on XBox last night and it was soooooo slow, I almost stopped watching it several times. Plus, their mouths didn't move quite in time with their words lol which is a MAJOR annoyance of mine. I would NOT recommend it. |
Cube 3: Cube Zero - Much better than Cube 2 and it has a cool twist at the ending. If you enjoyed The Cube, I'd recommend watching it. You don't need to have seen Cube 2 to watch Cube 3. |
Just watched Taps, again. Great movie, i love the ending, but I hate it, if you saw it, you would understand. |
3:10 to Yuma- Pretty damn good. Not a fan of Christian Bale though. |
Finally got around to Constantine, which I'd heard mostly blah reviews on, and I was happily surprised. I'm a sucker for the occult stuff, and for a playful approach to the Divine Comedy mythos, it sure beat the Hellboy movies. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
I watched most of Seven Pounds yesterday as I walked in about half an hour into it. It was a bit slow and it was a gradual revealing of information over time, but that's just what that kind of movie does, I suppose. It wasn't too bad, all in all. 7/10. |

"If there was one thing the lucid dreaming ninja writer could not stand, it was used car salesmen."
I saw the Mist. Great horror movie. |

And if I had wheels, I'd be a wagon.

The last movie I saw was 'Thirteenth Floor' |
Just rewatched 'The Blair Witch Project'. |
The last movie I saw recently was Role Models. Very funny but I missed Seth Rogen in it. Thats what any good Apatow movie needs is a good hard dose of Seth Rogen. |
Last weekend I saw Le Samourai, a film by Jean-Pierre Melville. I really did not know what to expect from it, but still I was a bit disappointed. However, reflecting on it a bit, I think it's better than I originally gave it credit for. I'll have to revisit it again to see if my view of it has changed much. It's one of those movies where it's not best to go into it with as little information as possible, in my opinion. The main theme of the film is isolation, how the main character is detached from the rest of the world. |
I recently watched "To Kill a Mockingbird" for my Literature Class. |
X Men Origins: Wolverine |
Bollocks.
Slumdog Millionaire: It was good and I liked it.. but I didn't think it was fantastic. |
See No Evil - Pretty respectable slasher flick. Cain (from WWE) played a good, silent psychopathic killer. I liked the way he was just manhandling everybody, and the deaths were all pretty brutal. Not really a 'good movie,' by any means, but fun to watch if you like that sort of thing. |
