I watched Hidden yesterday. Don't know what to think of it. Maybe I just didn't get it but when the credits start rolling I was like this is the ending? My boyfriend had the same reaction.

I know, isn't it brilliant! Like nothing you've ever seen before.

Watch the final scene again though, you should notice Majid's son and George's son talking to each other for a few minutes. This might hint at a possible explanation...

Myself, I thought the director didn't even want there to be an explanation... Just a sort of journey through the world of childhood cruelty and guilt.

But yeah, you asked for an arthouse film... I gave you an arthouse film

Last night I watched Logan's Run. Forgot how much nudity was in that, especially for a PG movie from the 70's.

      Tonight I am watching Excalibur.

      Earlier I was watching Seven.

      All worth watching.

I, too, found myself quite emotional at certain parts in the movie.

Catch Me If You Can- based on a true story about a con artist who made millions getting away with all kinds of crazy things, including being a co-pilot with no training and a fake ID! I thought it was a really good movie and even better book. It's very interesting to see the stuff he got away with! Definitely recommend.

I remember watching that, I think it was my first DiCaprio and he's been on my favourite actors list ever since.

I only read the first book, and while it was very good and went into more detail the film was mostly superior.

In the land of blood and honey. (Written and directed by Angelina Jolie) I thought it was a pretty interesting film. Though very brutal and graphic in a few scenes, it really was an intense ride in the beginning and in the middle of the film.
Dreams are meant to be used to create ideas. And hopefully, plant the seed of this idea, to another. Which will help build, a very powerful nation.

I watched Chronicle yesterday, and it was pretty good as "teenagers with superpowers" movies go. It wasn't nearly as cheesy as the trailers made it look.

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
