      Where the Wild Things Are

I just found a really cool trailer for a movie that is coming out this year. Its called "Where the Wild Things Are". I looked it up on Wikipedia and apparently it was originally a childrens picture book.

Plot summary from Wikipedia: "The book tells the story of Max, who one evening plays around his home, "making mischief" in a wolf costume by chasing the dog with a fork and growling at his mom. As punishment, his mother sends him to bed without supper. In his room, a mysterious, wild forest grows out of his imagination, and Max journeys to the land of the Wild Things. The Wild Things are fearsome-looking monsters, but Max conquers them "by staring into their yellow eyes without blinking once," and he is made "the King of all Wild Things." However, he soon finds himself lonely and homesick, and he returns home to his bedroom, where he finds his supper waiting for him, still hot."

      Here is the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFDcaTI0cl8

The movie looks like a crazy dream someone might have.

I read (or rather had read to me) that book when I was a little kid. I don't know how the hell they could possibly manage to make a movie out of it.

Yeah, I loved the book when I was a wee little boy. Seems to me like a book that should stay only as a book.
