      Best Movie of 2004

Hello all, award season is approaching and I was just wondering what you guys think was the Best Movie of 2004.

My personal pick would be Collateral starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx. Incredible movie, if you haven't seen it, check it out. Now.

      Other Nominees:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
      Ray
      Kill Bill Vol. 2
      Finding Neverland
      Friday Night Lights
      The Manchurian Candidate
      Hero

Note: The Aviator (Leonardo DiCaprio) and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (Bill Murray), due out for wide release on Christmas Day could also be prime contenders.

I vote for Kill Bill too -- but what about National Treasure? That really rocked too, I think. Anyone else see that?

Eternal Sunshine is obviously the best. Times a billion.

Hero. Zhang Yimou's films are always quite excellent, with stunning cinematography as an added bonus.

Now that I've seen Eternal Sunshine and The Aviator I have to say that those are my top two.

      The list:
      1) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
      2) The Aviator
      3) Collateral
      4) Kill Bill
      5) Hero

The Aviator really is incredible, everyone should go and see it. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou was also pretty damn funny.

Dodgeball was the best of 2004.
