He did the preparing and selected the location, but i took the first turn.

I'd be up for a bloodline game once I know what the hell I'm doing, this game looks pretty cool.

Banana, might want to consider giving this a try. Unzip it in your DF folder and click yes to all. If I were stuck with ASCII I'd never play this game, cause I'd never remember what anything stood for :lol:.

EDIT: uuh...I can't scroll through menu options. The tutorial says to use alt+down arrow but when I do that nothing happens.

Ive got no problem with the ASCII

I actually prefer it to any other tileset. You can put whatever you want for your tilesets but ill stick with the default

Only map the things in the first box. dont worry about the rest.

I don't have a laptop but I may be getting one before too long, so thanks for the info.

And I don't know how you play with ASCII graphics but congratulations.

Damn it, I used an embark profile from months ago, its really terrible, sorry.

Anyway, I have been really unmotivated to do my year, I will put some work into it today.
