Thread: Modern Warfare 2: Game of the Year

The voices and sound effects sound exactly like Command and Conquer Generals.

Looking forward to this game.

Seriously? Did you watch the video? Watch it to the end. The guy drops a fucking nuke and ends the round.

Waow that's gonna be annoying.

There are always marginally annoying things in video games, like unfair guns or bad map design, but this is absolutely ridiculous. The guy in the video kills 14 people with his apache helicopter within 35 seconds. How is he doing that? Simple, the helicopter has wall-hacks and it instantly kills anybody its cannon is pointed at.

I was gonna pick this game up but maybe I'll just get COD4M1...I'm not sure what version I played at the internet cafe but it was fun as hell.

CoD:MW2 was just released today, so while it is possible that you played it at an internet café, I doubt that's the case.

I got my Copy, can't wait to play it tonight, cuz I'm at school right now :3.

Looks like a fun game but shit like this is annoying to even watch.

I don't want to get nuked because some noob teammates keep dying to a happy camper.

I got mine yesterday (early), and I'm playing it right now... soooooo good.

Looks fun, but the fact that it will actually get GotY makes me sad.

'Course it will, I would say it is more like game of the fucking millennium.

This really shouldn't have gotten GOTY for all the stuff Infinity Ward is doing to it...

Looks awesome, but I don't fancy being dominated by that apache... Maybe the other team were just too stupid to shoot it down? I hope so anyway cuz that thing looks overpowered as hell!

It isn't overpowered, cause most people are smart enough to find cover, and most people aren't as good as that guy. And if you have a heat seeking rocket launcher, it is easy to take it down, and if you have enough people shooting at it with good guns, it takes it down.

No it was was COD4...not sure if it was modern warfare or not. I'm not knowledgeable on the series. and it wasn't MW2, because that was like a year ago

COD Modern Warfare has the "present" day look to it.

All the other Call of Duty's are set in WWII or the like.

I've always been more of a halo kinda guy, but this definitely looks worth buying. I never got that into cod 4.

I've been doing the campaingns for about 2h now...fucking epic. Missions plot are AWESOME!!! I can't wait to hit some servers once I've finished the campaign =)

Dude, Sora, nobody said anything about an overpowered nuke. It was an overpowered apache that was being talked about. The nuke is not overpowered at all. 25 kills to get it, and because of this, hardly anyone has it activated. So, the chanced of it appearing are quite small.

I wouldn't be so sure about that...

But that guy said you needed to get 25 kills in a row without dieing. That's hard to do.

My friend got a 26 kill streak yesterday, and then a 28 kill streak. For both of them, he hadn't activated the nuke kill streak.

Hahaha, yea, same here. Exept my cousin, he was raging at me, I got a message from him saying "how you get that? you wee penis"

That was yesterday, cause I got it early. But he still didn't have it today. I'm just fucking laughing at him.
