I like Tool. But I don't like Puscifer.
I dont really listen to APC or Puscifer but Maynard sings in them so i figured if anyone wanted to talk about them, that would be fine.
In high school, I knew the guy who later designed the claymation for Tool's videos in the 90's.
OMG NOWAI
Thats fucking sick
So you can tell people now, that you visit a site, and on the site some guy you don't know knows a guy from highschool that designed claymation. Kickass.
APC > Tool
Such an overrated band, Tool D:
Do you really listen to 10'000 days, or just jerk off to Maynards voice?
A little harsh, but I got the entire discog for Tool, and I still like APC more.
Puscifer is just weird. Maynard wasn't really the front-man, so I don't see how it could be compared to Tool or A Perfect Circle.
APC < TOOL imo...
I've worn both out though, can't listen to them at all anymore. also 10000 days wasn't very great.
i like all of tools songs.
I liked their videos when I was 12... thats about it
I think Tool are a good band. I like progressive music, but I prefer prog. rock as apposed to metal, like Tool. My favorites include Coheed & Cambria and Karnivool.
Adam Jones did the videos. He's their guitarist. He also did 3D work on Jurrasic (sp?) Park, Transformers, and Ghostbusters.
^_^
And honestly no-Name, APC is just another alternative band. Tool may have less spunk, but their music is way better written; I'm constantly discovering new things about it as I listen. Like, Lateralus follows the Fibonacci sequence, and if you arrange all the songs on that CD in a weird mutated version of it, they become one long song.
I guess you're just into easier-accesible music no-Name. No big crime: some people would rather listen to rock than classical, metal than fusion, or alternative than prog. It's just your thing.
I also like both bands, but Puscifer is just weird, lol. I still appreciate it as being unique, I just can't listen to it.
They were one of my favorite bands when I was a teenager and still get the rare play on my iPod.
