Thinking Course - A book by 'Edward De Bono'

I just ordered this book from Amazon. Did anybody else read it?

Most of the errors of thinking are errors of perception and that is precisely where these tools help. Learn: *How to enhance your thinking processes by developing your perception *How to make the most of your thinking skills and how thinking differs from intelligence *How to make decisions, and deal with emotions and values whilst focusing on the future. Edward de Bono, the inventor or the term lateral thinking', is widely believed to be the world's leading authority on the direct teaching of thinking as a skill. He is the author of over 60 books and his methods are widely used in many countries. He advises multinational corporations and also works with educational bodies to enable individuals to maximize their thinking abilities.
I'm really excited about reading it. I'd like to hear other peoples opinion about it!

I looked up lateral thinking. This is fun:

One of the most famous situation puzzles is told similar to this:

A man walks into a bar, and asks the bartender for a drink of water. The bartender pulls out a gun, points it at the man, and cocks it. The man says "Thank you" and leaves. What happened?

      Whoa, try this one:

A man lives on the twelfth floor of an apartment building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator -- or if it was raining that day -- he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the tenth floor and walks up two flights of stairs to his apartment.

      Spoiler for The answer:

      This one is wicked..

A man goes into a restaurant, orders albatross, eats one bite, and kills himself.

I haven;t read it, but I just ordered it from the library. I do think I've heard all of those questions before, but maybe it's just the fact that I haven't slept.
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

When I was in 7th grade our science teacher would read things like this to us at the end of the day if we had time and we would be in groups and have to figure it out. I've heard the first two before...

The book you're getting sounds pretty cool.
