I thought Ellen was a new judge, she hasn't been in any of the shows yet She's hilarious, will make Idol more watchable I hope.

She's on next year I believe. But they can't have too many softies. They need at least one person not afraid to be painfully honest.

ellen will appear during hollywood week this season.

That song was being talked about quite a bit on the radio this morning. The main talker lady said that she couldn't get it out of her head, and she knew others who couldn't either. This hollywood lady sometimes talks on the station, she can't stop thinkin about it either. Aparently, it's all over facebook.

why don't they explicitly judge on vocals not what they wear or look like or if they look hot or weird.

simon tells it like it is, you either suck or you don't, without him this show is done.

EDIT: Ellen is pretty decent too, she has her head on her shoulders, down to earth and usually blunt like simon, good stuff. but randy and cara are fin retards.

randy amuses me, but is pretty useless. i can't stand kara.

Kara is hott.

She is pretty but her head is filled with air.

I don't think that most people were really doin it for me...I liked Aaron today, though I don't even like country that much. I like his voice.

Yet another season... great. -_-
Can't wait to see how terrible it gets after Simon leaves. The auditions are the only interesting part.

girls i like: crystal, didi, and lacey - even though she screwed up.
guys i like: andrew, and john park - maybe only because he's cute.

I like Todrick Hall and Aaron Kelly.

My favourite female was voted off last time.

OMG, I was getting my haircut today, and I heard a song with the lyrics "Pants on the ground"

This. Season. SUCKS.


Every freaking night it's nothing but bad vocals and horrible song choices. No one is good. They may have good nights, but no one is good, stand out-ish or anything in between. It's a nightmare. The only person I know by name is Siobhan, and that's only because of that one ridiculously stellar note in her rendition of Think. They can't get rid of the bad singers this go-around because they're all terrible. They're picking amazing, wonderful songs that don't fit their voices at all. Unless you're a very talented male vocalist, you should NOT attempt a Christina Aguilera song. Aww heck, what am I saying? Even the ones who picked songs that fit their voices sucked.

This season is a total letdown. All of the really good ones (does the singing cop ring any bells?) got cut, and now we're stuck with those in the top 12. And I thought Kris winning last year was the worst thing ever...
