I didn't know about Simon Wilkinson. He's awesome. I have a new space musician to get really into. |

I'd love to see how a composer works in such long projects. 10 hours of music must be quite a feat, or is it more simple than I think? |

This was a thing last year: |

I have tried hard to get to the bottom of the story on that music. Apparently some guy named Austin Sistrunk posts his music on YouTube but doesn't have any CD's or MP3's I can find anywhere. His name doesn't show up on Amazon or Google, aside from links to his YouTube videos. The song is repetitive, so I think he used some kind of looping. It pretty much does the same thing over and over for 10 hours. I still love it. He also posted 10 hours of rain sounds, and he has a composition that combines the space composition with the rain sounds. |

Really glad this thread is still up and running, you've all had some great finds here! |

Biosphere does it well, so do these guys-- capture that cold, wintery, desolate mood. I listened to this once on a bright sunny day in the middle of nowhere, nothing around me but snow. Was like a white room that had sensory deprivation. The experience was beautiful, and I think this music really captures that "cold beauty" aesthetic. |
