And this is the reason I love you. I actually am taking the question seriously myself though, I'm writing a paper about television shows that generate lesbian cult followings.

I personally think they were lesbians all along, but they were suffering from pre-lesbian tension and never knew it. Like that lifetime actress that came out recently Meredith Baxter.

You're right about that, I saw an interview with Lawless who said they were never meant to have an ambiguous relationship, but one day they just kinda started playing around with it (heh heh) and stuck with that ever since.
