      How to Train Your Dragon

      New animated movie from DreamWorks.

      Looks cool

There is--though I do not know how there is or why there is--a sense of infinite peace and protection in the glittering hosts of heaven. There it must be, I think, in the vast and eternal laws of matter, and not in the daily cares and sins and troubles of men, that whatever is more than animal within us must find its solace and its hope. I hope, or I could not live.

Being fully aware of the air whipping by you, controlling every movement of every single atom in your body with a single thought. It's real freedom, and there's not a word good enough to describe it, so I'll just call it dreamy for now."

The dragon looks so damn cute! It reminds me of my pet cat. I'm dragging my friend along to this.

      i wanna see it.
the news reports on the radio said it was getting worse
as the ocean air fanned the flames
but i couldn't think of anywhere i would have rather been
to watch it all burn away

I watched it, and it was FAR, FAR beyond my expectations. I have no hesitation in saying that this is Dreamwork's best movie. Full of heart, character development, and no pop culture gags to be seen anywhere. Several moments got me pretty emotional. The writing was unusually top-notch.

I want to see it again.

this does look pretty good, I would like to see it in 3-D. The only thing I dont like is the dragon design. I know I know, everyones a critic. It wont stop me from seeing it, Im just saying.

If Dreamworks keeps making films like this, and Kung Fu Panda, and stop making garbage like Madagascar, the line that divides them and Pixar will grow thinner.

Loved the movie, was not part of the usual demographic found watching this kind of movie: i.e. little kids or their mothers. Corny bits, some predictable stuff, but honestly, I was impressed. I almost thought this was a Pixar movie or something.

It was pretty good. The visual design was great. I loved the architecture and the "stuff" (purposely vague) that the kid makes. The voice actor for the main character was a little bland. That's the worst criticism I have for the film.

I saw it in 2d and I'd guess it would be awesome in 3d. My opinion generally is when at all possible do 3d though.

Just saw it. It is a solid 5th on my top 20 favorite movies. I really liked it, much better then any other Dreamworks movie. I wish I had saw it in 3D, however.

I am not at all interested in dragons and all such fantasy creatures. I don't like children movies with all their stupid messages. I saw this movie rather just to pass the time than to watch it for its sake.
I was drawn in this river in first 5 minutes. And what a experience it has been. Right from the start as the narrator describes his world, you are immediately there. You feel yourself in the characters place. The movie does that for you. This is very uncommon movie and it has set a milestone for 3D, not because of its technical aspects, but because of the Depth this movie has.

I've been hearing nothing but good things about this movie. I'll probably take my daughter to see it, this weekend.
