      I just caught an M.I.A song on XM radio while RACING RELIGION TO THE LIQUOR STORE, and I remembered how fucking AWESOME she is when you're blazed...and in general, but especially when you're blazed.

      I had Kala but someone lost it >:(

      maybe it was me.

      anyway, anyone else like her stuff? I'm sure everyone has heard Paper Planes, it was way overplayed (and the song they played in all the previews for Pineapple Express), which is a great track but the rest of her music is crazy! and it's just amazing when you're high.

      Kala is such a great album. I think one of the reasons that it was so terrific was because she recorded it in so many different locations across the globe, with loads of different local influences. I guess that's one of the upsides to being denied entry to the U.S. because your dad's a Tamil Tiger.
