Thread: Doctor Who

There was a version of that show that used to come on T.V. in the early 80's. It was pretty trippy. There was also a Dr. Who in the early 60's. I haven't seen the new one.

Yeah, this is a bit of a bump, but this thread just kinda died.

That episode was awesome. It would've been cool to see more dream like stuff happen, but I really liked the twist ending.

"Die in the dream, wake up in reality. Ask me what happens if you die in reality?"
"What happens?"
"You die, stupid. That's why it's called reality."

My favorite part

I have to say I never really watched it regularly with Tennant, mainly because the storylines could be pretty stupid and I thought it was kinda overblown TV, but I am hooked by the overhaul.

That dream episode was the epitome of what's been so great: the writing was brilliant, the dream lord was a great character, and I'm frequently finding myself laughing out loud at the combination of the script and Matt Smith's awesome persona, which never happened before.

Like when the Doctor complained about the Tardis not making 'the noise', which turns out to be a result of his leaving the brakes on. :V
