Battle Royale

Well, I was browsing the web, and I was reading a list of great films that have come out in the 21st millennium. One of the films was Battle Royale, naturally I was curious about the premise (40 Japanese Teenagers put on an island with no choice but to kill each other), so I'm watching it on youtube.

Its a blend of Horror, Black Comedy and Sheer Drama. Has anyone else seen it?

Read the 15 volume manga and/or read the novel (both have been translated to English and are on sale everywhere). Take my word for it that they're both far superior to the movie. The movie is pretty cool though. :3

I've heard the book is best so I'm gonna go with that. I just have to find it....
