Question Is our "Reality" a "Dream"?

I've been thinking for a while now. So here goes.

Tell me, how can we be sure that the "reality" is not a dream and our dreaming state is the "Dream". Like.. maybe everything we do is just a dream, and once we fall asleep in our dream, we're waking up in a world of unconsciousness.
Technically, we are all higher beings and we have the power to do anything we want, so long as we can control and maintain that power. So our Lucid Dreaming state for example is the state where we are awake and using our full possibilities to do whatever we want. And then we fall asleep into a world which we have no REAL powers and can only do what our "dream" state thinks is logical. After all, if our "dream" state can do anything it wants at all. Then wouldn't it also be logical to think that it's immortal?
So that could possibly mean that our "dream" us have gotten bored of the possibilities in the "dream" state and wants to try out a world in which it doesn't have the power to do anything it wants. With law, and limits

Hopefully we'll have some discussion here

There are no dichotomies for what's real and what's not.

The dreaming state is just as important as the waking state in my opinion.

Lucidity can be achieved in both waking and dream state.

Interestingly last week i had a dream, I questioned the DC about this (without doing an RC for some reason) and he said to stop thinking about it and that he knows there is the 1 in a billion chance it's all a dream but to accept the most likely probablity that everything is real and just as it seems. A few seconds later I woke up.

You don't. But how do you know that everything we do in reality, is a reality?

      Also thanks for the comments

I honestly think, based off of Quantum Theories and 2001: A Space Odyssey, that the dreaming state and the abilities we have in it are primitive forms of a greater power on humans. I believe with more evolution, Homo sapiens will learn to incorporate and utilize untold functions of our mind. It may sound like I just smoked a bowl, but really, look up: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Shrodinger's Cat, observers, and noetic science.

What if our minds are able to primitively incorporate possibilities, generated by our brain, into the subconscious that influence us to make different decisions in the waking world? In other words: What if the brain is the gateway to 4-dimensional (time) control? Just as we are able to control our 1,2 and 3-dimensional selves.

How do we know we aren't all comic book characters?

The answer is that we don't - and yet, we're not.

The better answer is "Stop asking stupid questions."
