The scare is because six children who had the vaccine developed narcolepsy.
Given usual incidence rates, one would expect around six children to develop narcolepsy.
So uh... what's the story here?

In a normal year, 2 - 7 children develop narcolepsy, according to forskning.no. European Authorities are currently researching whether there is an unusual increase in narcolepsy amongst children elsewhere too, according to the Norwegian Medicines Agency.Quote:

Swine Flu vaccinations were free for a lot of people. My siblings were required to get them by their hospitals (Resident and 3rd year med student)
