DMT is likely produced in the pineal gland, and recent research indicates that the pineal will produce DMT in large amounts at least 2 times in the life of a human; at birth and at death. That could be the proof of the soul that lives on after the death of the body, and is able to separate during one's lifetime - astral projection.
People having near-death experiences experience similar effects to DMT created by the pineal gland - Out Of Body Experiences, seeing flashy lights, hearing voices, etc.
A strong sense of fear also is capable to force the mind to produce DMT, and vice versa, DMT is able to produce fears that exceed the normal sense from 10 to even 100 times - that would be the reason for people dying from fear using it.
When a person jumps off an aircraft and his/her parachute doesn't open, he/she dies before the impact with Earth, because the Mind separates the Soul from the physical body, in order not to feel the pain - he/she's dead before touching the ground.

DMT is also used by some people who are unable to astrally project without any help. But this prevents the control over the astral body, which actually is extremely necessary.

DMT is what is most likely responsible for alien abduction experiences also. The absolute terror people report plus the visions of humanoid beings doing awful things is what is reported in accounts of deliberate DMT experiences.

What is hysterical is that DMT is illegal in the United States (and other countries) while it exists naturally in all humans. That means that all U.S. citizens are guilty of felony drug possession just by being alive. :lol:

I've completely disregarded any previous posts after I read the first few stating that DMT is not worth doing.

DMT, or Dimethyltryptamine, is the psychoactive chemical in the Shaman brew, Ayahuasca. I know everyone feels that they have a true grip of what the experience may hold for them; terror, life changing experiences, too frightening to endure. I have vaporized pure DMT crystal at least three dozen times. With extreme care and caution, DMT can be a spiritually enlightening experience. Levels of thinking that you have never even considered existing before blast at you. Compare this to being in a fighter jet; you can experience G-force up to 6 g's without being in a G-suit. If in a G-suit, you can experience up to 10 g's. If you've seen videos of people flying fighter jets, their reactions to the g-force is insane. IMAGINE EXPERIENCING THAT, WHILST THE REALITY AROUND YOU IS TEARING APART. You watch reality literally tear apart, piece by piece, in an extremely fast manner. It may feel like you're struck by lightning at first. Now imagine the fabrics of reality reconstructing in front of your eyes while your brain is 100% active. It feels weird, blissful, painful, peaceful, there are no words to describe the sense you get. At some point during most DMT trips, they will level off, and stop being as intense. At this point, you see another reality infront of you, with beings who speak to you, who guide you, who communicate with you in a completely foreign language. It all sounds so bizarre, I know.

Here is a rough description of one of my experiences of DMT..
I was living at my girlfriend's family's house at this point of my life.. nobody was home, so I decided to vape some DMT in bed. I loaded my bowl in my girl's three foot bont, packing some herb and ash at the bottom of the bowl, then some DMT, and ash/bud on top of the DMT (doing so helps to vaporize the DMT). I heated the bowl for a moment to warm the DMT up, then I slowly began to draw in my first hit, white-walled that shit. I hold it in as long as possible, then I go for another hit. I repeat this process for four hits, and the last hit I hold in my lungs until I choke. By that last hit, I could literally felt my mind melting and my lungs felt like two giant hot air balloons in my chest. Immediately as I exhaled, I saw the room around me cover itself with a paint-splotch sort of fractal design. All over I could see paint-splotches covering everything in my room; every object in the room melted into colors, and soon all I could see were paint splotches of the colors of the room. I felt a massive rush of adrenaline as though someone had shocked my chest with 1 million volts. I watched the paint splotches pull apart leaving blackness around them. It was as though I could see a full 360 degrees. These paint splotches started to twil and dance in the blackness creating ridiculous visualizes with uncomparable beauty. I felt the beauty in every inch of my body. I felt as though I was having an orgasmic release out of every pore on my skin. What happened immediately after that is slightly foggy. Once I became aware of the trip again, I watched the few paint splotches that remained, palce themselves at different locations all around me. There were some only a mere feet away from me, some miles away. I watch them take shape of a ball of light which seemed to have an everchanging face. The faces would shape from every race, to animal faces, to uncomprehensible faces. They started to chant what sounded like a mantra spoken in a type of alien tongue and dialect. I was fully fluent and understanding of everything they had said to me.. It was as though they had been filling my mind with wisdom and understanding of the universe. The last thing they told me was to not be afraid of what lies ahead, just be aware that I will live on forever and I will prosper and succeed in this life. After they told me that, the black abyss I was in started to dissipate and I came to concioussness in my physical body, laying in bed. For that entire month, I had an extreme euphoria unlike anything I had ever experienced. It felt like my mind was constantly pumping seratonin in my brain making me feel insanely happy and content.

It may be a little vague, but I know DMT is an enlightening experience which I suggest to anyone who has an open mind and is willing to have any experience unlike anything they will ever experience again.

Sorry for such a long post.. hope you get to experience DMT, especially when you're in the right mindset. It is beautiful.

I would compare dreaming to DMT. Although DMT tends to be a bit more wild.

The terror is not necessarily induced by the drug, it more of a reaction to what's happening around them and the mind's inability come to any kind of understanding of what everything is, let alone what's happening. I've never had the good fortune to try DMT, but if you have ever tried high doses of dissociatives, similar confusion and total loss of ones self and any sort of meaning whatsoever can take place. I'm sure the experience itself is much different and the overall feel is much different (psychedelics and dissociatives feel almost like polar opposites to me--one connects you with everything and you discover everything has meaning and beauty whereas dissociatives cut you off and sends you deep within the confines of your mind. Although I can swear many of the times I have taken high doses that I was actually in several parallel universes at the same time, ones where existence is wholly different than what it is to be human or even exist as an entity or being.), but both can cause "reality" to completely dissolve and what it means to be human or alive or that either of those things exist as a concept or a thing goes completely out of the window. My experiences on dissociatives have always left me feeling like I didn't know if I even liked what I just went through, but the longer time goes on that answer always becomes yes. I say give it a try, it can be life changing yes, but only traumatizing if you let it.
