So not new. The cops have been attacking the protesters since it started. NYPD alone is already facing dozens of police brutality lawsuits, civil rights violation lawsuits, and wrongful arrest suits. The cops work for the mayor, the mayor works for the banks, the banks are the ones being protested against.
