Lucifer does seem to be the good guy. But in the old testament God is the one who is going to cause your city to burn if he's not happy so it made sense to worship that guy I guess.
Not that he actually exists or anything ridiculous like that :chuckle:
Tibet should have just given up all their traditions and beliefs forthright because China is more powerful. I don't see why they even put up a fight.
I've heard this idea before, and it meshes well with the way I view things. Satan is a collected consciousness or over-soul of humanity. It has "fallen" or been cast out of heaven in the sense that it has become separated from the higher, more encompassing levels above it. God is the totality of all, which experiences itself by creating descending dimensions, each dimension a further sub-creation. There is an aspect of god, a created level, of which your body, mind and spirit are creations of. This aspect has fallen asleep, becoming disconnected from this whole branching system. Humans, being components of it, are asleep as well.Quote:

As a Follower of Christ who lives by the Bible and not the modern church, the reason why God is good, is because that's the exact definition of God, good, loving, and also, holy. The holy part of God is the part that seeks justice from the wickedness of us. Now, according to this belief, anything not of God, or has sinned, is not good. Lucifer, being a former angel, rebelled against God to take his place, however, obviously failed. Creation can't kill Creator, you can believe that wheter you believe in God or not. So, according to the Bible, Lucifer being the one who technically caused sin and also our rebellion, caused or suffering from the beginning. Lucifer does not rule over hell, God does. (Reason why I said this is because I watched the video of the comedian.)
So basically, Satan, or Lucifer, is the reason why we have fallen, causing his evil to just compound. Hope I could explain having asked a Biblical Question, I replied with a Biblical answer. No arguments, please. Blessings.

God being good is subjective, I think. Take into consideration the different "interpretations" of the G man. "If you choose to be gay, you'll burn in Hell forever" "Being gay is a sin because the Bible says so and God think it's an abomination", "God hates fags", etc. Gay issues were the first thing I thought of, btw. This makes God into a psychopath hating any anomaly. Is he still "good" for that? Is Lucifer the evil one compared to God?
And then we have the more tolerant "God loves everyone equally" people. See what I mean? People interpret God's "personality" in different ways.
Like that comedian said, if Satan is evil, why would he punish like minded people? Can you be punished if you don't have a physical body? When they say punish, does that mean "burn for eternity"? What's their source on that claim? If I went to Hell I'd just astral project out of there. It should work unless Satan has constructed some kind of anti-astral projection force field. :panic:
Actually I'm not sure that its in the bible that satan tortures people when they go to hell. Some where in the bible is a reference of lucifer bound by chains in hell and crying
