Did you know that one of the general entry requirements for the Scottish police is a 'good standard of education'. A requirement not included for the English and Welsh police. Just sayin'.

This sounds a lot like Hawaii. Here's how they deal with this on the big island. I am not necessarily condoning it because I don't like killing cows. I'm just reporting it. this is no joke by the way.

If it gave people more choice it would mean greater accountability. However in this case it appears to mean severely lowering the accountability. As long as the police force is getting privatized, I should be allowed to choose which department I am subject to.
