Earth in 100 years
I had originally posted an idea I had, but I decided it couldn't really go anywhere.. Instead, I would like to see if anybody has anything to say about where they think the world will be in 100 years, just for kicks and giggles.
Some starter topics..
-technology
-economics
-intelligence
-warfare

I don't think your terms have any meaning, and thus any substantive conclusions you think you are drawing are illusory.
If I'm wrong, please explain what is meant by 'consciousness', 'signal', and 'interpret'.

Technology: I believe that in around 60 or 70 years we will have more processing power than we could need for anything
People will be able to artificially increase their lifespan, maybe through grwoing a new body or replacing organs or a complete new kind of mechanism.
Warfare: I don't think there will be any major wars any more.

To tell the truth, I don't know exactly where I was going with this. I think i'm just going to delete this post.

Sorry for the change in topic mid-thread, but the previous topic wasn't very well thought-out on my part. The replies for the new topic entitled: Earth in 100 years starts here.

In future I would just delete the thread and start a new one :)

Technology - Elementary school kids will have remote control space stations and play space crash up from their houses. That is all they will ever do with their lives. All jobs that exist today will be performed by robots.
Economics - The world currency will be dirt. That way, everybody can have plenty of money.
Intelligence - You won't need it.
Warfare - Guns, bombs, missiles, airplanes, catapults, knives, stones, and wooden clubs will be outlawed worldwide in 2057 and will therefore cease to exist. All wars will be fought by fists, until those are banned.

Humanity's biggest struggle in 100 years may be the constant battle to sustain ecosystems that were previously self-sustaining (until we came along, of course.) We'll be introducing new species elsewhere and attempting to meddle with the failing ecosystems that we've seriously crippled.
Hopefully we can "fix" it, but I wouldn't put my bet on it.
