WHAT COLOR IS A MIRROR? i cant figure it out  i am going insane....slowly....
Mirrors are silver in color. So like a light grey. Techincally since its reflecting color back though its whatever color that is being reflected at the time. If you take plain silver though its grey, then its after polishing it it reflects colors, but if it couldn't reflect anything you could say it would probably still be silver.
So take your pick, you can have silver, or whatever its reflecting or you could just say it doesn't have a color, because it probably doesn't.
well the image thats reflected in the mirror is the same color wise, but contrast is warped, however so sublte, to make it seem silver
kinda like chrome
i think this belongs in the "sensless banter" forum.
Why? I actually thought about the question before looking to seeQuote:

what the answers posted were, and I'm not sure what the true answer is.
I'm curious to see if someone researches it and adds some more perspective.
How can something with a mirrors characteristics of reflection be said to be
any color constantly ?
( I just noticed that we joined on the same day )
Things don't have color, they reflect and absorb parts of the light in a specific manner. The outcome that you perceive through your eyes is determined by the surrounding light and the the light that hits the surface.
