I heard about this story a while ago and was waiting to hear more. And, what's the deal? WHY hasn't this made story bigger news, and, more importantly, WHY after he signed up with uncle sam have we heard no more about this incredible story?...I'd at least expect to hear some sort of debunking story if it is indeed a fake. Sadly, I suppose most people these days are more concerned with Paris Hilton getting out of jail, or seeing shots of Britney Spears' bald snatch and head plastered all over the TV and net than hearing about solutions to our planet's global energy crisis.

I swear, the stupidity of the general public is so stiffling it's beyond sickening sometimes..

Thoughts?...Is this Real, or Fake? Either way, why no more information on this?

Looks iteresting, but in the end you can never know if it's real or not. It would make sense for keeping it quiet though, it's not good for the oil business. We'll have to wait and see.

OK, I just spent the last half hour researching this. He made his initial claims a year ago and no major laboratory has validated his claims yet????

I tend to think this guy is blowing smoke. Anyone remember Cold Fusion?


[EDIT] OK, the guy has developed a new, innovative way to create a cutting torch, but I'm betting it takes more energy to create his flame than could be extracted from it.

He also apparently offers retro-fitting your car with the hybrid technology. It may seem unbelievable but anything can be feasible given all the unknowns. However, skepticism should definitely be held first when dealing with these extraordinary claims.

It could all be some lame scam, afterall.

This is old, and all a pile of steaming pseudoscience, I'm afraid.

I've seen this vid before, it's kind of hilarious if you know any science at all. Fox News has the most shoddy reporting ever. It's terrible, even compared to the little that I saw whilst in America.

And he actually measured the temperature! He didn't just make up that statistic with no experiment whatsoever!

It can LITERALLY burn a hole in one of the most easily combustable substances on the planet!?

Which is definitely NOT because it was never heated to any signifcant degree in the first place, but because this is magical fire, which heats to the temperature of the sun only where it wants to!

I really don't want to give this more attention than it deserves, which is basically none, but I'll just finish by saying that this technology has been known for ages.

Unfortunately, the energy you get by combusting hydrogen released from the electrolysis of water is less than the energy that it takes to electrolyse said water.

So it's useless, basically. Don't let anybody tell you anything else.
