Money doesn't buy abstract concepts, but it may help set you up to be in more situations where you're happy. The simplest example: Money might buy something that brings you great happiness (say a book). Books are cheap, but you still need to pay for them. :P
If you and your mail order bride totally end up falling in love... did money buy love? No, but you wouldn't have achieved it without money :D

I would say Love is a strong, emotional bond between 2 people. A mix up of mutual Physical and Spiritual attraction so intense that it's a somewhat "sacred", extatic experience. Now obviously that which I just described cannot be bought with money, cause if Money would buy you a woman, there would never be that spiritual connection; She would simply be after your money.
If she DOES "Love" you in the sense that I described my view of what Love is, then money never had anything to do with it.
Here's another question and I'm very curious as to what your answer would be:
If you could choose:
- A lifetime of splendor, living in a palace, riches beyond imagination and a harem full of BEAUTYFULL women to please your desires of lust. A swimming pool, servants..etc.
OR
- Live with 1 woman: One you Love intensely and the feeling is mutual and equal. She brings out the most wonderfull moods and sensations in you and vice versa. She does, however, live in a poorly constructed cottage in which it gets ice and ice cold in wintertime, no proper sanitation and her income is tragicly low, forcing her to live on very humble amounts of food. She doesn't have alot of new clothes...She's basically poor beyond imagination.
Make your choice. :) I'm damn sure what my choice would have been.

|Yeah I agree O, I think initially money can be an attraction, for example you pull up to a girl in a Fararri, strike a conversation, get to know her, fall in love. Where as you pull up in a Vauxhall Nova (shit car) she might not even give you the a second glance, so initially the money factor there could have been the initial attraction.
Its the same principal as saying looks are not important, they damn well are because there always has to be something to spark that initial attraction to someone and if that is their looks, or apparent wealth, then it still counts.
I am willing, for the good of the forum, to hire a fancy car, bust out my suit, and go on a mission to see if this theory works. Then take a shit car and try it out lol.
