Agreed. But I think it would provoke riots amongst a lot of races that were for obama. He's like...the new martin luther king jr...to all races not just blacks :chuckle:

In all fairness, you can't blame her for her daughters pregnancy, it's quite simple to lie to your parents (going to movies, hang with friends, etc) and instead go to a party or some sort and get pregnant. That was her daughters judgment, not hers, Palin can't have 100% control over her daughters life and actions, as with many other moms with teenage pregnant daughters.

Her old-a** view of abortion does her in, in my opinion. She's already politically unattractive in so many ways. Abortion would be completely illegal--outlawed--even in instances of rape. Her only exception is if the pregnancy would kill the mother. Most rape-induced pregnancies are just as healthy as those that resulted from consentual(spelling?) sex. Only difference is one person is raped and the other actually had a choice in the matter and I think it's just criminal to force a woman to carry the baby of the man that violated her. I just can't stomach the 'logic' there.

Just saw McCain on the news, saw a little clip of his speech in which he talked about not wanting the shame of America loosing a war.

This was really pretty stunning for me, how anybody could possibly say that and get applause... it really sums up everything that is disgusting about America's mindset and to me the man is looking more and more like a worse version of Bush, not to mention his vice president who could well become president is a complete and utter nutter creationist.

Only in America eh... I'm hoping very much Obama wins.

Just think how our economy will look if McCain gets in the office.

McCain knew he had to do something to shake things up a bit, so he picked a woman to sway some of the Hillary supporters that feel let down that Obama didn't pick her as a running mate. But yah palin is a joke. Shes imposes her beliefs on anyone when shes no angel. So typical of conservatives...they believe in "small government" except for when it comes to our personal lives. I just can't believe all this gay bashing still goes on. Watever happened to the whole "America is the bringer freedom" thing when our own citizens do not have freedom.

If McCain has his way, gays and lesbian's will be deported to another country...if Palin has her way, they'll be deported to another universe.

I voted against, even though I'm not old enough to vote.:P I kinda makes me sick how much my parents lick up anything the Republican party does, as if they can do absolutely no wrong. This isn't sports. As a voter, you shouldn't be voting because you "Want your party to win," you should vote for what's best for America. If McCain were to win, and die before his term was up, I sure as hell don't want this women to be head honcho of the country.

Yeah, I agree, politics isn't really something you believe in or not, it is all about opinion, to say don't believe in politics is saying don't hold an opinion, even an anarchy needs some opinion on such things, well maybe not, but I don't think that would even be an option.

:shock: If it wasn't for politics your country wouldn't be sovereign.. Political science is one of the most important factors of human civilization. A state provides the institutions, and requires legitamacy to function. Which is in the hands of the people, democracy or not. This "philosophy" of yours would lead to chaos. Unless you want to live in the wilderness..
