Why would it be brighter in a spot? It's a perfect sphere. Each photon will bounce trillions of times before dying off.

I really don't get how that pictures cool. Makes no sense to me. A grey rectangle with a retarded nose down the bottom and some glowing white edges around the sphere. Sorry but could someone explain it to me.
