didn't egypt start like 5000 years before our 2009? And that's just speaking of civilization.
In short, Homo sapiens appeared 200,000 years ago and started migrating away from Africa about 70,000 years ago.
10,000 years ago agriculture and settlements come in the picture. The scientific revolution started around the 16th century, and not long after came the industrial revolution.
Does anyone else find it amazing the technological explosion that's taken place the passed 200-300 years? All these fancy computers have only been around for about 30-40 years.
