Exactly. It is just a fraternity, like any other. If you are interested in networking or community service, you will have a great time.

Everyone loves a good mystery, and it is fun to imagine all sorts of conspiracy theories. The reality of freemasonry is actually very disappointing. If you join, be prepared to either have your magical dreams crushed, or be constantly frustrated that they refuse to initiate you into the fantastical-sacrificial-virgin-goat-blood-orgies.
